Then he left to co-found Oblique with Jun, first as a branding agency. We set out to help passionate brands grow into the best version of themselves. But design and branding alone weren't enough to get them there. Beautiful decks sat unused, because nothing connected them to the work that brings a brand to life: the ads, the content and the site. The brand was never what was broken. It was the system around it.

Oblique was founded by Sean Ng and Jun Kong in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sean spent years inside large agencies working on brands including Nestlé, AirAsia, Fox Sports and Uniqlo before building Oblique. Jun joined as co-founder to run operations and delivery. The agency started as a branding-focused shop and has since been rebuilt as Malaysia's integrated marketing agency, running brand strategy, social and content, performance marketing, SEO, GEO and website design under a single brief.
